Key-Systems presents current projects and products at CeBIT 2010

Zweibrücken, 2010-02-24, For the first time Key-Systems, one of the largest European domain registrars, presents its product offering around the registration and management of internet addresses at the CeBIT exhibition in Hanover, Germany (March 2 – March 6). The centerpiece of the presentation is the company portal BrandShelter.com as well as the planned, new top-level domains (TLDs) .SAARLAND and .Madrid. In June, Key-Systems GmbH will relocate its seat to St. Ingbert in the federal state Saarland, Germany. Thus, the registrar presents itself on the shared booth of the federal state Saarland, hall 5, stand F04.

As a member of the nonprofit association “dotSaarland e.V.“, Key-Systems introduces the project for the domain ending .SAARLAND (www.dotsaarland.de). The top-level domain .SAARLAND shall make the Internet even more attractive for the inhabitants of the federal state Saarland (called Saarländer): “In Saarland there are currently only half the amount of domains per capita registered compared to the average for Germany. For this reason, there exists a great potential for the regionally oriented ending .SAARLAND”, says Key-Systems' COO Thorsten Smeets. According to him the project .SAARLAND aims at enhancing the public spirit and the cooperation of different societal groups in Saarland. “The TLD .SAARLAND has the capability to further develop the federal state as an area with IT focus and an economy based on innovation”, adds Smeets.
