The new space is located in Kaiserlautern (Germany) and has a TIER 3 certification same as the main data center in St. Ingbert. The entire product portfolio will also be available at the second location. The product offering includes colocation, cloud hosting, root/managed servers as well as the conception, realization and operation of customized IT solutions.
“The steadily growing demand for fail-safety and geographically separated data center locations necessitated the expansion of our capacities at the second location”, says Roman Schließmeyer, CEO of the SKYWAY DataCenter. “The development also extends the area of influence of our infrastructure products towards Northeast and thus across the borders to Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany).”
The connection is generated through own routers, independent of the primary location in St. Ingbert (Germany). Direct connections between both locations can also be established.
Even considering the distance required for worst-case scenarios, SKYWAY DataCenter still guarantees a fast response time for maintenance work on customers systems.
The SKYWAY DataCenter GmbH was founded in 2010 as a fully-owned subsidiary of the international domain registrar Key-Systems GmbH. The company is a professional service provider of IT infrastructure for business clients as well as individual customers with sophisticated needs.
