“For the KSregistry GmbH, the new website offers the opportunity to provide customers and interested parties with background information. This is particularly important because the new gTLDs will become available soon”, states Oliver Fries, CTO of KSregistry GmbH. The website also informs internet users about the technical structure of the registry system and its functions, as well as the currently supported country code top level domains (ccTLDs) .TC, .VG, .GD and .DM.

30 candidates for new regional, generic or brand TLDs also decided on KSregistry as technical backend provider. These include the French company Starting Dot, which is one of the applicants for .SKI, .DESIGN and .IMMO as well as the sole candidate for .ARCHI and .BIO. Besides several applications from brand owners, the dotSaarland GmbH with its application for the regional TLD .SAARLAND trusts in KSregistry as backend provider.
