Key-Systems accepts binding pre-orders for all new TLD launch phases

In early February, the first new domain extensions including .BIKE, .SINGLES and .GURU have already started with the so-called Go Live phase. Since then web addresses under these extensions (top level domains, TLDs) are available to anyone interested on a "first come, first served" basis. Key-Systems GmbH accepts binding pre-orders for all new TLD launch phases including the first, the so-called Sunrise period for trademark owners.

In addition, Key-Systems supports brand owners in recording their brand name at the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH). This registration is required for the participation in all new TLD Sunrise phases. The company also offers the so-called Domains Protected Marks List (DPML) of the Donuts registry, a service for the protection against cybersquatting. With probably more than 200 extensions, Donuts is expected to be the largest operator of new top level domains. Take the opportunities offered by new TLDs and enter now binding domain pre-orders for all phases. Key-Systems already accepts binding pre-orders for all phases of the launch process via its portals (end customer), (resellers and domain investors) and (brand owners and businesses) in the Sunrise phase.

The company has a long experience and high success rate in pre-registering new TLDs. The domain registrar achieved a 60-percent success rate in the pre-registrations for the launch of .INFO and .BIZ (2002), a 64-percent success rate in the pre-registrations for the start of the General Availability of .CO and even a 93-percent success rate for Key-Systems customers in the pre-registration during the .ME Landrush (2008). Key-Systems also was among the top 5 registrars with the most Sunrise registrations for the first seven new TLDs of the Donuts registry.

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) already delegated over 100 new TLDs, including .SINGLES, .HOLDINGS, .GURU, .CLOTHING, .VENTURES, .BIKE and .PLUMBING, which started in the Go Live phase on February 5.
