Since its foundation in 1998 Key-Systems has emerged as one of the leading European companies for the distribution and management of domains (internet addresses). The registrar administers more than 2.7 million internet addresses for more than 70,000 end customers and 1,700 resellers from 200 countries.

Extensive product offering and international presence

Through the three portals domaindiscount24.com, RRPproxy.net and BrandShelter.com, Key-Systems offers more than 200 top-level and second-level domain endings for fully-automated registrations, among them country-code extensions like .DE (Germany), .IN (India) or .COM.BR (Brazil) as well as generic extensions like .COM, .NET and .ORG.

Key-Systems currently has 52 employees – at the headquarters in St. Ingbert and at the two subsidiaries in the USA and Mexico. Since 2005, the domain expert is regularly listed on statistic portals like registrarstats.com and webhosting.info as one of the 15 largest and fastest growing ICANN registrars worldwide. In 2008 and 2009 Key-Systems was recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Germany in the “Technology Fast 50” contest by Deloitte.

A powerful partner for innovative projects and companies

As a technology partner, Key-Systems supports Punto Madrid's application for the new generic top-level domain (TLD) .Madrid. Furthermore, the registrar is a member of the “dotSaarland e.V.“, a non-profit association aiming at the introduction of the TLD .SAARLAND for the federal state “Saarland” in the southwest of Germany.

Through the joint venture “DevKey Domainmanagement Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt)”, a software company specializing in the needs of domainers, Key-Systems distributes the domainer software “DNWorker”. Additionally, Key-Systems ownes a share in the IT company Avarteq GmbH, which develops web portals, individual software, solutions for social communities, online shops and content management systems. Furthermore, Key-Systems holds the majority share in the Polish registrar AZ.pl and an interest in Thomsen Trampedach, an internet consulting firm with presence in Switzerland and Denmark.

Key-Systems is a member of several relevant organizations to the internet business, among them the association for the administration of the German domain extension .DE “(DENIC)”, the alliance of the German internet business ECO as well as RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) and INTA (International Trademark Association).

domaindiscount24 (dd24) addresses end customers with extensive extra services to domain registration like web and mail space, vServers or SSL certificates. The fully automated domain portal is available in six languages.

RRPproxy (since 2001) – for Resellers

RRPproxy offers fully-automated domain registrations via different APIs and web interface to registrars and ISPs at a wholesale level. Moreover, the system includes features such as a subreseller system, an SMS gateway, vServers, SSL certificates or web space.

BrandShelter (since 2009) – for Companies & Organizations

BrandShelter provides companies and organizations/institutions with services concerning domain management, brand protection on the Internet and the application for their own TLD like .BRAND or .COMPANY.

DNWorker (since 2010) – Software for Domainers

The DNWorker of the “DevKey Domainmanagement Solutions” (a joint venture with Key-Systems) is a multi-dimensional software, which allows domainers to centrally manage business tasks like the registration, parking, projecting, monetization or sale of domains.
